Mevi Advanced Technology Netherlands is a company active within the following areas: machining, mechanical engineering, machine and equipment construction.As machine and equipment builders, Mevi was regularly asked if they could also machine and assemble in a clean room. With this question, Mevi turned to SRBA Controlled Environments (SRBA CE) in 2010 and this resulted in the construction of a cleanroom, in accordance with ISO 14644, Class 7. SRBA CE acted as main contractor in this project and installed the cleanroom in collaboration with M+W.

This was a clean room the size of 220 m² and was built with our SRBA CE wall system GSO. An aluminum Omega frame system, including bottom and ceiling profiles, built up in combination with MS. In the Omega profiles developed by SRBA CE, 12.5 mm plasterboard, fitted with 0.6 mm sheet steel, is enclosed. The Omega profile is sealed by an aluminum trim. Doors and windows were installed by us in cleanroom design. We installed the ceiling based on our BPM 100 system. A walkable system ceiling, based on 100 mm wide aluminum profiles with sealing tape for airtightness, and 28 mm (edged) Melamine panels. The ceiling is modular and “reusable”.
