In August 2015, SRBA Controlled Environments (SRBA CE) started the construction of some larger cleanrooms, sluices and clean rooms for the purpose of various workshops. The total area was 1050 m2. Special about this project was the fact that the new design had to be realized with the materials of two already used clean rooms and the fact that there was a tremendous time pressure. The delivery had to take place the first week of November!

Together with Unica Installatietechniek we started this challenge as a construction team. At the time of the start, demolition work was still in full swing in other parts of the beautiful classic industrial building on the old Philips site. Within three months, a cleanroom of stature gradually emerged, classified according to ISO 14644 class 7 and 8. The cleanroom was cleaned by our PP4CE partner WERO and validated “for approval.

What started with containers full of used material and many pallets of sheet metal was transformed into a beautiful clean room. For SRBA CE, it was a completion without a single deficiency.
