In late November 2014, SRBA Controlled Environments (SRBA CE) was awarded the contract as general contractor for the construction of a new 200m² cleanroom, ISO 14644 Class 7 and 8, as well as subsequent construction of 300m² cleanroom space, as yet unqualified.

Thanks to excellent preparation on the part of CoreDux’s management and optimal cooperation between the various PP4CE partners, it was possible to complete the entire installation process in a very short period of time. Just before Christmas that year, Bolidt provided the floors with Epoxy pouring and coating systems. On January 5, 2015, the construction part was then started in combination with the construction of the necessary ducts and further infrastructure. The SRBA CE Semiconductor wall and ceiling system was the basis and Kuijpers Controlled Environments took responsibility for installing the air treatment with cooling, heating and humidification. To meet CoreDux’s sustainability ambitions, an enthalpy control system was developed specifically for this client. This installation part ensures an optimal energy concept! The entire construction process went smoothly and very harmoniously between all parties involved.

On Feb. 18, PP4CE partner WERO finished cleaning the entire facility, which was followed immediately by qualification tests by CMI from Eindhoven. The various clean room areas were successfully validated in accordance with the Program of Requirements.

The walls are constructed using the MOM wall system developed by SRBA CE. A modular system based on Omega profiles combined with 16 mm. melamine panels. The walls incorporate various glass and door sections. Two ovens are integrated at the front of the cleanroom wall to keep the heat load on the outside of the cleanroom.

The ceiling is a non-walkable NBM 24 system.

Following up on the above work, in 2022 we had the opportunity to perform the renovation for CoreDux in France.
