At its Duiven location, SRBA Controlled Environments (SRBA CE) has completed a successful handover for an ISO 14644 Class 6 classified cleanroom.

It concerns an 80m2 space, divided into a fully equipped personnel/material lock with an adjacent clean room as well as a small wet-lab. PP4C partner Kuijpers has performed the E and W work as well as the connections of the FFU’s which guarantee the right air quality in the clean room. Walls and ceilings are constructed with the MOM single and double wall system developed by SRBA CE based on 16mm melamine sheet material. The walls feature a number of window elements, a number of single and double cleanroom doors. The ceiling is made of the walkable ceiling BPM 100. LED fixtures are installed in the ceiling for lighting the cleanroom. Floor finishing, final cleaning and classification were provided by the following PP4C partners: Bolidt, WERO and CMI.

SRBA CE and WERO provided an introduction to cleanroom technology as well as correct cleaning regime for about 35 BESI employees!
