Realization of 3 clean rooms in the WOX building at the ABBOTT Healthcare location in Weesp.

In early 2017, SRBA Controlled Environments (SRBA CE) realized three smaller cleanrooms, with a total area of approximately 105 m², in a new production hall on the ABBOTT site in Weesp. The cleanroom is divided over 3 floors and has two sluices on the first floor. The cleanroom and locks are equipped with 5 steel doorways and several windows.

One cleanroom area, of approximately 30 m² surface area, had to be fire-retardant for 60 minutes. Double doors and a window section were of course also installed in a fire-retardant version in this cleanroom.

The whole is constructed with the BSPS (Brecon Sandwich Panel System). Our PP4CE partner TRIMO used the FM certified 100 mm stone wool insulated, completely flat panels, with 150 micron “food safe coating”, in the RAL color 9010. The many process pipes as well as the necessary grilles for the HVAC installation, required about 45 recesses in walls and ceiling.

It goes without saying that the specifications and many fittings, distributed over such a small area, required the necessary attention to deliver the work to client Cordeel Nederland B.V. correctly and on time.
