In the second quarter of 2014, Brecon Controlled Environments (Brecon CE) had the opportunity to install a 550 m2 Cleanroom, including sluices in the Hengelo facility. This was an ISO 14644 Class 8 room, in which DOKA facilities have been built in order to prevent UV exposure of products and in which a total of 5 pass-through cabinets have been installed.

The walls are constructed with the Brecon CE GSO wall system. (Plasterboard fitted with 0.6 mm. sheet metal, placed in Omega profiles) The walls incorporate various glass and door sections. The ceiling is a non-walkable NBM 24 system.
